The Engagement Proposal
For weeks, Jeremy had an elaborate plan set for September 21, 2007. He was going to take Gail on a romantic gondola ride around Coronado Island and pop the question. Jeremy had it all set with both families, including Gail's family who flew in from San Francisco, ready to meet them at the dock afterwards to surprise her. But, two hours before the gondola ride was to take place, the company called Jeremy to cancel his reservations due to severe high winds and possible rain. So, Jeremy only had a few hours to think of a plan B and contact the families to re-route everyone.
Since Gail was starting a new job, Jeremy told her he was going to take her out to celebrate at their favorite restaurant in La Jolla. Once they arrived to La Jolla, Jeremy tells Gail that they're early for their reservations and so he suggests walking down to the Cove to see the infamous sea lions. Little did Gail know that Jeremy's plan was to propose at the end of the deck. But, again, Jeremy's plans were ruined because there were so many tourists at the deck, and he knows that Gail hates causing a "scene" in front of crowds. Jeremy drags Gail in the cold around the parks in La Jolla until he finally finds a secluded spot by the ocean and drops down on one knee to propose. In shock, Gail laughs and tells Jeremy to get up! As Gail tries to call her parents on her cell phone, she looks up and their families start coming towards them. Despite all of Jeremy's ruined plans, everything turned out perfect... and Gail said yes!!
